Connect your site
Connecting means putting your Publisher ID somewhere the browser extension can find it. Use zapub_7Fq2xR9nKd3wV8mB4tL6yH1c (example Publisher ID) and pick one of the methods below. You can also find your ID under Sites & creators.
You do not need to register each property in advance. Once your ID is in place, accepted subscriber activity can create the integration automatically after upload and processing. You can also add and verify a website from your dashboard.

Prefer the response header when you can set it across all pages. A meta tag is an alternative announcement method; either can accompany membership verification. Putting the ID in page content is only for platforms where you can't touch the server or the markup at all.
Website and creator integrations
The method you can use reflects how much control you have, and that decides how you earn:
- Website integration (header or meta tag) — the extension treats the announcement as a website integration, earning at full weight. It does not independently prove ownership or compliance. Subscribers must get a clean page: remove ads, non-essential third-party trackers, cookie banners, and marketing interruptions. If you sell access, grant your base subscription or a custom included access level.
- Creator (ID in page content) — you're on someone else's platform, which can keep showing ads. Subscribers control the allocation to creator attention; the default retains 50% of the creator's initial time-based share and redistributes the remainder as described in How you earn.
Discovery method determines the integration type. Website publishers must deliver the clean experience; the extension does not automatically verify compliance. Creator allocation can range from 0% to 100% of the initial time-based share. See How you earn for the exact split.
Already ad-free? You're done after one step
If your site has no ads, non-essential third-party trackers, cookie banners, marketing popups, or restricted paid access, adding the header or meta tag is enough. Otherwise, follow Removing ads for subscribers to provide the required experience.
